Objective:To learn about specialist conditions of107periodontitis patientson their first visit to Affiliated Stomatology Hospital of Guangxi MedicalUniversity,to provide some reference for the prevention and treatment ofperiodontitis.Methods: We collected specialist periodontal status of107periodontitispatients on their first visit to periodontal outpatient of Affiliated StomatologyHospital of Guangxi Medical University since October2008.According to strictinclusion criteria,we selected the integrity medical records of107periodontitispatients,analysis retrospectively to understand the clinical features ofperiodontal specialist periodontitis patients on their first visit.analysis contentincludes the general clinical data and the degree of loose teeth, bleeding onprobing, probing depth,clinical attachment loss, missing teeth and so on.Allraw data was entry in specialist periodontal examination spreadsheet,usingSPSS statistical software for data analysis. Result1.General conditions of the collected data53males and54females were included in the107cases.age from20to68,Among them,91patients were diagnosed as chronic periodontitis, with anaverage age of40.05years old, mainly were35-44years old.16patientswere diagnosed as aggressive periodontitis, with an average age of30.5years,mainly were20-34years old.2.Diagnostic conditions85.05%of patients diagnosed with CP,14.95%were AgP. Diagnosed withmoderate to severe periodontitis patients accounted for76.63%.3.Analysis of specialist inspection conditions89cases showed BOP positive rate greater than30percent,96casesshowed percentage of PD>4mm greater than30%,96cases showedpercentage of gingival recession>1mm greater than30%,92cases showedpercentage of CAL>5mm greater than30%.27cases showed symptoms offurcation in more than5teeth.there were791loose teeth in total, accountingfor30.8%of the total number of all teeth. The largest number of loose teeth wascentral incisor,the minimum number was fangs. The total number ofmissing teeth is160, accounting for6.32%of all teeth. the largest number ofmissing teeth was first molar and incisor. The minimum number wascanine.Conclusion:1. Most patients’ specialist inspection conditions were worrying in the patientsof periodontal department of our hospital, clinical manifestations were serious;Most patients diagnosed with moderate to severe periodontitis and withobvious loose teeth when first visit to hospital, lacking awareness andattention of periodontitis2.The most susceptible area is the anterior area and the molar area. Themost susceptible teeth is the first molar and lower incisor in Periodontal disease.The most unsusceptible teeth is canine teeth.、...
