Regularity Of Medication For Bronchial Asthma To Clinical Medical Record Given By Professor Hu Guojun

Objective:To explore the rules of medication of state-level traditional ChineseMedicine (TCM) practitioner professor Hu Guojun for bronchial asthma by sieving theeffective medical records using TCM Inheritance Support System (V1.1) at premise ofclinical effect analysis of TCM syndrome.Methods:One hundred and fifty medical records of bronchial asthma providedby professor HU Guojun were evaluated on their clinical effective rate by scoresof TCM symptom classification,and some of them were excluded due to its noneffectiveness.The rest were recorded into TCM Inheritance Support System (V1.1)and statistical analyzed.The data mining included frequency statistics,revisedmutual information,complex system entropy clustering and unsupervisedhierarchical clustering aiming at preliminarily obtaining important herbalcombination and alternative new prescription by analyzing the frequency andherbal correlation.Results:The total effective rate of the selected participants with bronchialasthma treated by professor Hu Guojun was88.00%during clinical observation.One hundred and thirty-two effective medical cases were collected with a totalof322clinical visits.One hundred and fifty-one Chinese herbs were selected.Some results by software analysis were as follows:1The top10of the drugs in high frequency are ephedra,scutellaria,silkworm,cicada slough,inula flower,lepidium seed,bulbus fritilariae,schisandra chinensis,almond and cortex mori.2The medicinal properties of the drugs used are mainly cold,mild,warm,andthe sweet bitterness,pungent drugs are also commonly used.Drugs in the lung,liver,stomach,spleen,heart and kidney meridians are most commonly used amongthe twelve meridians and collaterals.We can see that herbs of clearing andresolving heat-phlegm are widely used in comparison with other drugs in the medical record.3The top10of commonly used drug pairs are:(1)silkworm,cicada slough;(2)silkworm,ephedra;(3)ephedra,cicada slough;(4)inula flower,ephedra;(5)scutellaria,ephedra;(6)silkworm,ephedra,cicada slough;(7)lepidiumseed,ephedra;(8)scutellaria,cicada slough;(9)scutellaria,silkworm;(10)scutellaria,inula flower.4The top10of commonly used core combinations are:cicada slough,silkworm matchalmond;match ephedra,almond;match licorice,match lepidium seed;match bulbus fritilariae;match inula flower;match inula flower,ephedra;matchscutellaria,ephedra;match almond,ephedra;match scutellaria.5Nine of new prescriptions:(1)forsythia,thunbery fritillary bulb,iphigeniaindica,prunella;(2)cocklebur fruit,the root of kudzu vine,lotus leaf,chuangxiong,fructus viticis;(3)breit,semen raphani,perillaseed,nansha ginseng;(4)dong quai,cinnamon,cornu cervi degelatinatum,morinda officinalis,cultivated land,dried ginger;(5)oyster,cicada slough,salviae miltiorrhizae,fossil fragments;(6)oyster,cicada slough,silkworm,fossil fragments;(7)sinapis alba,red peony root,perillaseed,epimedium,cultivated land;(8)coptidis rhizoma,acorus gramineus,curcuma,iphigenia indica,prunella;(9)lepidium seed,peach seed,atractylodes,cortex mori,lumbricus.Conclusions:1Professor HU Guojun has rich experience in the treatment of bronchial asthma.Itis worthy of further exploring and is of great value in improving the levels of diagnosisand treatment in clinic.2Unsupervised data mining technology combining with human intelligence that ishuman-computer cooperation is beneficial to improve the levels of summarizingexperienced TCM practitioners and provided many access to data mining.3The herbal rules obtained from TCM Inheritance Support System are inaccordance with the clinical experience by professor HU Guojun on treating bronchialasthma,which on the other side has testified some new values obtained from softwareanalysis and is worthy of further notice for promoting the heritage of TCM. 4Core combinations and new prescriptions provide some clues for clinical andbasic researches,which are of great value in further exploration.
