Objective: To observe the therapeutic efficiency on lower limb of spasm after stroke by different frequent electric acupuncture on antagonistic muscle. To look for and provide one kind of more effective electric acupuncture frequency.Methods: 60 patients were randomly divided into 3 groups, control group, low frequency transduction group and high frequency transduction group. There were 20 patients in each group. Patients in the control group were treated by common treatment and rehabilitation training. Based on this, low Frequency transduction group patients are combined with the low frequency transduction electric acupuncture stimulation, and high frequency transduction group patients are combined with the high frequency transduction electric acupuncture stimulation, All Patients were assessed before and after training Period. The evaluating items include:Surface electromyography recode the integrated electromyogram(IEMG). And co-contraction ratio during maximum isometric voluntary contraction(MIVC) of the ankle dorsi—flexion and knee—flexion, Clinical Spasticity Index(CSI) score for spasticity, Fugl—Meyer measurement for the motor function.Results:(1)After the treatment, three groups during maximum isometric voluntary contraction(MIVC) of the ankle dorsi-flexion and knee-flexion, the IEMG of quadricceps femoris and gastrocnemius muscle were all decreased, sartorius muscle and tibialis anterior muscle were all increased, Co-contraction ratio were all decreased (P<0. 05). And the low frequency transduction group is better than the control group, and the high frequency transduction group is better than the low frequency transduction group.(2) Comparison between before and after treatment, the the high frequency transduction group patients during maximum isometric voluntary contraction(MIVC) of the ankle dorsi-flexion and knee-flexion, the IEMG of quadricceps femoris and gastrocnemius muscle were all decreased, sartorius muscle and tibialis anterior muscle were all increased, Co-contraction ratio were all decreased (P<0.05).(3) Comparison between before and after treatment, the low frequency transduction group during maximum isometric voluntary contraction(MIVC) of the ankle dorsi-flexion and knee-flexion, the IEMG of quadricceps femoris and gastrocnemius muscle were all decreased, sartorius muscle and tibialis anterior muscle were all increased, Co-contraction ratio were all decreased (P<0.05).(4) Comparison between before and after treatment, the control group patients during maximum isometric voluntary contraction(MIVC) of the ankle dorsi-flexion and knee-flexion , the IEMG of quadricceps femoris and gastrocnemius muscle were all decreased, sartorius muscle and tibialis anterior muscle were all increased, Co-contraction ratio were all decreased (P<0.05).(5) After the treatment, for the CSI and score and Fugl—Meyer measurement, three groups were all decreased (P<0. 05), and the low frequency transduction group is better than the control group, and the high frequency transduction group is better than the low frequency transduction group.Conclusion:(1)Different frequent electric acupuncture on antagonistic muscle is beneficial to reduce the muscular tension of spastic muscle, improve the muscular tension of antagonistie muscle, correct abnormality of cooperativity of agonistic muscle and antagonistic muscle, and the high frequency transduction group is better than the low frequency transduction group.(2)Different frequent electric acupuncture can decrease quadricceps femoris and gastrocnemius muscle, increase sartorius muscle and tibialis anterior muscle and better co-contraction ratio, and the high frequency transduction group is better than the low frequency transduction group.(3) Three groups can reduce the muscular tension of spastic muscle, improve the muscular tension of antagonistie muscle and cause to restore the health. And the low frequency transduction group is better than the control group, and the high frequency transduction group is better than the low frequency transduction group.
