Studies On Flavonoids Of Filipendula Palmate (Pall.) Maxim Var. Glabra Ledeb

Filipendula palmate (Pall.) Maxim var. glabra Ledeb is the perennialherb of the Filipendula of Rosaceae and variety of Filipendula palmate(Pall.) Maxim. It grows in the areas of China, Japan and Russia andgrows in jilin and heilongjiang provinces. According to the literature,Filipendula palmate (Pall.) Maxim var. glabra Ledeb is pungentflavor,bitter and tepid.It has been widely used as a folk medicine to treatrheumatism, gout, epilepsy, frostbite and empyrosis.The preliminary experimental results show that Filipendula palmate(Pall.) Maximvar. glabra Ledeb contains flavonoid, tannins, essential oil,etc and the reaction phenomenon of the identification of flavonoids wasthe most obvious.We extracted by using ethanol and separated withmacroporous resin column chromatography, silica gel columnchromatography, sephadex LH-20, etc. Accordind to physicochemicalproperties, spectral method and related literature data,4flavonoids ofthem were identified. They were identified as apigenin (compound1),quercetin (compound2), quercitrin (compound3), rutoside (compound4).Compound1,2,3and4were isolated from this plant for the first time.
