Objective To explore the clinical application value of serum golgi protein73(GP73) in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma. Methods The study wasconducted on97patients with hepatocellular carcinoma who were received andoperated and pathology confirmed in our hospital.Serum GP73was detectedusing enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) while AFP was detectedusing the electrochemiluminescence method. The results were analyzedcontrastively. Results The measured values of GP73and AFP were(130.01±82.70) ng/mL and (257.31±325.03)ng/mL,respectively. UsedGP73≥150ng/mL and AFP≥400ng/mL as the positive decision values, thediagnostic rate for hepatocellular carcinoma was34.92%(34/97)and28.96%(28/97),the former rate is higher(P<0.001),the diagnostic rate of combineddetection was49.48%(48/97),much more higher than the separate ones(P<0.001); As the tumor size increased, the degree of tumor differentiationreduced and the tumor pathology classification rised, the measured values ofGP73were in a increasing trend, but had no Significant differences in differentgroups; GP73had no correlation with AFP, CHE, AST and ALT. Nevertheless, there was a moderate correlation between preoperative GP73and postoperativeGP73.; Postoperative GP73was significantly increased than preoperative GP73 and the comparison was statistically significan(tP<0.001). Conclusion Thepositive rate of GP73for hepatocellular carcinoma is higher than AFP,combined detection could increase diagnostic rate, however, the clinicalapplication of GP73is still limited, high sensitive kit should be brought in andmeasurement and follow-up of large sample should be conducted for furthervalidation.
