Clinical Observation Of Blood-cooling Wind-dispersing Beverage Method In Treating The Active Syage Of Psoriasis Vulgaris (Wind Heat And Blood Dryness Syndrome Type)

Objective:To explore the mechanism of blood-cooling wind-dispeling method in treating wind heat and blood dryness syndrome type of active stage of psoriasis vulgaris through observation of the medical effects of the method on the disease, for the purpose of providing objective theory basis for the treatment of this syndrome type of the active stage of the disease.Method:100patients were selected from outpatient dermatological department, and they were randomly allocated to treatment group (50patients) and control group (50patients). The patients in the treatment group were treated with a TCM decoction, the blood-cooling wind-dispersing beverage; and the patients in the control group were given Indigo compound formula pill, orally taken.4weeks after the treatment, the improvement of the size and the severity of the damaged skin and PASI score change of the patients in the two groups were observed and compared.Result:1. PASI score of the treatment group is lower than that of the control group after4weeks treatment, with significant difference (P<0.05).2. The effective rate in the treatment group is74%and in the control group is62; and there is significant difference between the2groups by comparison (P<0.05). The result indicates that the treatment group is superior to the control group.Conclussion:1. The blood-cooling wind-dispersing beverage can significantly alleviate the size and severity of damaged skin for the wind heat and blood dryness syndrome type of the active stage of psoriasis vulgaris, can lower the PASI score and improve clinical symptoms.2. The blood-cooling wind-dispersing beverage is an effective formula in treating wind heat and blood dryness syndrome type of the active stage of psoriasis vulgaris.
