The Clinical Observation Of Expelling Wind And Detoxicating Decoction For The Treatment Of Quiescent Psoriasis Vulgaris

Objective:Discussing the clinical outcomes of expelling wind and detoxicating decoction for the treatment of quiescent psoriasis vulgaris.Methods:Selecting100eligible patients who suffered from quiescent psoriasis vulgaris (wind-cold syndrome) in the clinic of dermatology department of the first affiliated hospital of Heilongjiang university of traditional Chinese medicine, using random method in clinical research, dividing it into the therapy group and the control group, eventually the number of actual completion in therapy group is49, and the control one is47for falling off4patients in the treatment process. The therapy group is treated with compound expelling wind and detoxicating decoction of traditional Chinese medicine for oral use, the control group is treated with angelicae pubescentis and loranthi pill orally, both groups are matched with vaseline for external use. Observing improved condition of the PASI score and the lesion areas or the severity before and after8weeks of treatment of the two groups of patients.Results:1.The PASI score of both groups decreases after4weeks of treatment, after8weeks of treatment, the PASI score of therapy group lower much than the control group, there is a significant difference between the two groups in the PASI score(P<0.05).2. The total efficiency of therapy group reaches75.51%, and the control one is59.57%, comparison of the therapeutic effects, there is also a notable difference between the two groups(P<0.05), the results show that the therapy group is better than the control one.Conclusions:1. Expelling wind and detoxicating decoction can relieve lesion areas or the severity of patients who suffered from quiescent psoriasis vulgaris obviously, and reduce the PASI score, improve the clinical symptoms.2. Expelling wind and detoxicating decoction is the effective prescription for the treatment of quiescent psoriasis vulgaris.
