The Effects Of Ziqianhuatan Decoction Combined With Western Medicines On The Blood Pressure And Blood Lipid Of The Patients With Abdominal Obesity

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Ziqianhuatan decoction in the treatment of hypertension complicated wi th hyperlipidemia.Methods:60patients who were abdominal obesity with hyp-ertension complicated with hyperlipidemia were randomly divided into two groups.30patients in the control group were treated with Irbesartan and Hydrochlorothiazide tablets and Atorvastatin calcium tablets.30patients in the treatment group were treated with Ziqianhuatan decoction, besides Irbesartan and Hydrochlorothiazide tablets and Atorvastatin calcium tablets. The clinical effect of2groups were compared after56days.Results:Compared with the control group, TCM clinical s-ymptoms improved obviously in the treatment group(P＜0.01).The treatment group was better than the control group in the blood pressure level after the therapy(P<0.01).There is not a notable difference in blood lipid between2groups (P＞0.05) after all treatments. The difference in waist circumference between the two groups significant (P＜0.05).Conclusion:Ziqianhuatan decoction combined with western medicines for hypertension complicated with hyperlipidemi a is effective in lowering waist circumference. Ziqianhua tan decoction combined with western medicines has better effect than western medicines in improving clinical sympt oms and lowering blood pressure for hypertension complica ted with hyperlipidemia, but there is not different inlow ering TG、 LDL-C between them.
