The Clinical Observation By The Electric Acupuncture Of Point-muscle Point To The Acute Peripheral Facial Paralysis

Purpose:This study aimed to investigate the the clinical efficacy of pointing acupuncture points and muscle point of the acute peripheral facial paralysis in patients.compare facial muscle points with conventional acupoints through the analysis of the efficacy of electrical stimulation,so as to looking for a new significant method of treating the disease.Method:We chose a randomized double-blind method,The patients were randomly divided into treatment group and comparison group;The treatment group received acupuncture points-facial muscle movement point method for acute peripheral facial paralysis patients; The comparison group using conventional acupoints acupuncture therapy for acute peripheral facial paralysis;Facial nerve function grading and scoring standards and efficacy standards were House-Brackmann (HB) facial nerve function assessment grading system that was refered to the Fifth International Symposium surgical facial nerve thematic studies.Consequence:1.There is no statistically significant difference in the first and the second treatment of both two groups on the (H-B) Scores(P>0.05); in the third, fourth treatmen, we have the difference between the treatment group and the comparison group with statistically significant (P<0.05). Treatment group (H-B) was significantly higher scores.2.There is no significant difference in the first and second course in the two groups (P>0.05);But we have significant differences in the third, fourth course in the two groups (P<0.05);The treatment group was significantly higher3. Groups at different stages of treatment, the correlation between age and efficacy analysis showed that the treatment group and the control group in all four courses in restoration of age-related disease, a statistically significant correlation test shows:the younger the better resume, the older the recovery worse.Conclusion:1. Acupuncture points-muscle points as the treatment of peripheral facial paralysis gets significant effect, It can improve the cure rate and shorten the course of treatment, with prolonged treatment, a significant increase in efficiency.2.Compared with traditional acupuncture therapy, the method has a more significant clinical effect.3.The difference of age have the influence to the restoration of acute peripheral facial paralysis.
