It suggested that the curative effect of ultramicro modified zeng ye decoction was superior to maren capsule. There was a significant difference between the two groups in the comparison of onset time of defecation. It suggested that ultramicro modified zeng ye decoction can take effect faster than maren capsule. There was a significant difference between the two groups in the comparison of interval time of defecation. It suggested that ultramicro modified zen ye decoction was superior to maren capsule in reducing interval time of defecation. There was a significant difference between the two groups in the comparison of defecating time. It suggested that ultramicro modified zeng ye decoction was superior to maren capsule in reducing defecating time. The overall recurrence rate of control group was higher than treatment group. However, there was no significant difference between the two groups in prevention of recurrence. There was a significant difference between the two groups in the comparison of residual number of maker at24,48,72hours after taking medicine in colon transmission test. It suggested that these two groups can both develop colon transmission rate. Conclusions:Ultramicro modified zeng ye decoction can improve patients’symptoms and signs and develop colon transmission rate apparently.
