Through this study to understand the Hunan Agricultural University Student’s nutritional status and nutrition "knowledge, attitude and behavior"(KAP) status for college students to carry out nutrition education, guiding students a reasonable diet, formulated to improve the nutritional status of students to provide a basis for policy.24-hour dietary recall method to design nutrition knowledge, attitude and behavior questionnaire and food intake questionnaire drawn by stratified random sampling, Hunan Agricultural University,565college students as the object of study. The use of daily food intake and nutrient intake and body mass index (BMI) Evaluating College Students’nutritional status, college students nutrition knowledge score level X2test was used to compare the different conditions, the recognition rate of each nutritional knowledge, nutrition attitudes and behavior differences.(1) Hunan Agricultural University students malnutrition rate of20.7%, the normal rate of77.7%, overweight and obesity was1.6%. Boys malnutrition rate was significantly lower than girls, normal, overweight and obesity rates significantly higher than those of girls. Different professions under the conditions of the nutritional status of students the difference was not statistically significant. Different Sources conditions, the City of overweight and obesity rates significantly higher than rural students, and malnutrition, no significant difference between the normal rate of urban students and rural students.(2) much better grasp of the overall nutrition knowledge score rating of good or excellent students accounted for80.9%. College students the correlation between knowledge of nutrients and disease recognition rate is low, such as eating salty foods often susceptible to what disease, bleeding gums lack of what vitamin, zinc deficiency can cause what disease, anemia may lack what nutrients lead to and other issues, the recognition rate of less than60%.(3) college students overall nutrition attitude is not good.9.4%from the students do not eat breakfast often eat supper students accounted for22.5%of college students love fresh fruit, meats, soy products, grains, green vegetables and other food, but the daily intake of fresh fruit students accounted for only14.2%, soy students accounted for only6.1%. majority of students eat snacks, drink, drinking habits, eat snacks, drink beverages, the proportion of students drinking less than10%of regular physical exercise students accounted for41.1%majority of students dietary consumption of400-800yuan, accounting for70.5%. different gender, profession, students under the conditions of the students’ eating behavior difference, the difference was statistically significant.Hunan Agricultural University students’ nutritional status, nutrition knowledge, attitude and behavior of the overall situation is good, but there is not an ideal situation such as nutrition knowledge awareness master is not ideal, unhealthy eating habits, daily food intake of non-compliance. The overall situation of the girls better than boys in the intervention group better than the non-intervention group, rural students, students can not wait for the urban students food choices with limited due to economic conditions. Therefore, improving the nutritional status of college students, and promote the comprehensive development of physical and mental health of college students from the College Students nutrition and health education, to improve the quality of school meals condition aspects.
