Objective: In order to providing a theoretical basis and a new effective method ofclinical treatment of LPR.,we observed the clinical improvement of symptoms and signsbefore and after treatment on LPR with the method of Soothing the liver and invigoratingthe spleen, to further explore the theoretical basis of TCM treatment of LPR.Method: Select62patients who were diagnosed LPR,the treatment group was treatedwith Shuganjianpi Decoction and Omeprazole,the control group was treated withjinsangliyan pill.After one month we observed clinical improvement of symptoms andsigns before and after the treatment and made records,then made statistical analysis.Results:By the statistical analysis, the total effective rate of the treatment group is90.32%, the control group is61.29%. Two groups in clinical improvement of symptomsand signs show significant difference.Compared with the control group,there aresignificant differences of the treatment group treatment group in improving excess throatmucus or postnasal drip, clearing the throat, heartburn, pantothenic acid, chest pain,erythema/hyperemia,vocal fold edema, posterior commissure hypertrophy and reducinglaryngeal mucous gastric protein concentration.Conclusion:The treatment group is superior to the control group in improving theclinical symptoms and signs.The treatment group is better than control group in improvingexcess throat mucus or postnasal drip, clearing the throat, heartburn, pantothenic acid,chest pain, erythema/hyperemia,vocal fold edema, posterior commissure hypertrophy andreducing laryngeal mucous gastric protein concentration.
