ObjectiveThrough the investigation and research,understand the nursing home inelderly patients with constipation symptoms and emotional and subjectivewell-being,and give a sports massage intervention.To evaluate symptomsand subjective well-being after the intervention, in order to investigate sportsmassage effect for constipation symptoms and subjective well-being in thenursing home, so as to set up effective sports massage intervention plan,improve the patient’s symptoms, improve the patient’s subjective well-being.MethodsSelect90cases (male40cases, female50cases) patients with constipationnursing homes, were randomly divided into two groups: the interventiongroup (sports massage group)48cases, the control group (given nursinghome routine nursing group)42cases.The implementation of sportsmassage therapy on90cases of elderly aged constipation, body movement,breathing exercises, abdominal massage and foot massage, after8weeks,with chronic functional constipation severity rating scale and MemorialUniversity of Newfoundland scale of happiness (MUNSH) before and afterthe massage of motion in curative effect evaluation.After statistical analysisand processing of data in two groups.ResultsThrough eight weeks sports massage intervention, constipation symptoms compared with control group, intervention group of constipation in additionto the toilet every time time and enema, hand help defecate, effort, endlessdefecate, abdominal pain, defecation to exhaust every day but no hardnessnumber, excrement and five aspects of clinical symptoms were improvedsignificantly, severity score significantly lower in patients with constipation,the difference had significant difference (P <0.01). Before intervention,patients with constipation nursing home whole subjective well-being is lower;After the intervention, compared with the control group, intervention group inaddition to the negative feelings and negative experience, generalhappiness, positive emotion, positive experience is higher than the controlgroup, subjective well-being scores before a sports massage increasedsignificantly (P <0.01).Conclusions1Demographic data showed that: different gender, education, occupation,income, health status of nursing home constipation elderly subjectivewell-being differences.2Sports massage can effectively improve the elderly constipation elderlyrespiratory muscles, abdominal, pelvic floor muscle strength, compared withthe control group, the intervention group constipation symptoms improvedobviously, this improvement is mainly reflected in the defecation exertion,frequency of defecation, defecation incompletion, abdominal pain,defecation frequency, stool hardness of these6Comparison of project.3Compared with the control group, the intervention group subjectivewell-being increased, this change reflected in: in addition to negativeexperience, negative emotion, whole subjective well-being sense ofintervention group was significantly higher than that of the control group, thetotal well-being, positive emotion, positive experience score significantly higher than stem pre.Mainly because of sports massage by the threedimensions of physiological, psychological and social influence subjectivewell-being.
