Objective:Develop a three-dimensional medical visualization system can be rebuilt by reading DICOM data corresponding parts of the three-dimensional model, and the model rotation, translation, scaling and other basic operations. Methods:Using the PC with Windows XP operating system, the development environment is VC6.0, install VTK5.6and make the necessary settings, use the MFC to develop a three-dimensional medical visualization system, follow these steps:(1) create a drawing object.(2) create a drawing window, will draw objects draw window.(3) reads the CT image sequences, sets the path of the read image sequence.(4) to extract isosurface (generate triangular facets) were extracted from the slice data, depending on the gray, skin and bones. Set data of the input image sequence; set decimation organization contour gray value.(5) the establishment of a V-belt objects and data mapping object.(6) graphics rendering, to receive the properties of the geometric data, and set a different color and transparency of bones and skin.(7) set the viewing position to observe the position of the object and focus.(8) to create a human-computer interaction function.Results:VC6.0and VTK to meet the needs of medical3D visualization systems development, developed by3D visualization system software through read DICOM format files to complete the relevant parts of the3D model reconstruction of three-dimensional model,it can be used to rotate, zoom, pan to visually observe the shooting location and diseased tissue Form, treatment and surgery. Conclusion:Use developed the Medical three-dimensional visualization system by the DICOM format on hip three-dimensional reconstruction CT image sequences in human-computer interaction to achieve a three-dimensional model for the reconstruction after the rotation, zoom, pan, and other interactive operations, can clearly observe structure, shape and type of fracture for the hip.
