Purpose:This research observes the effect of respiratory function exercise and dietnursing intervention in order to the quality of life with chronic obstructive pulmonary diseasepatients.Method:80patients of COPD were randomly divided into two groups (experimentalgroup&control group),all patients were given basic nursing. We applied the respiratoryfunction exercise in control group,while40patients in experimental group were givenrespiratory function exercise and diet nursing intervention. The intervention time was6months. The author systematically observed the respiratory function exercise and diet nursingintervention to influence the patients’ symptom, sign, pulmonary function and quality of life.Result:The clinical research results indicated:after three months of intervention, theexperimental group and the control group both significantly improved (p<0.01or p<0.05) inthe aspect of clinical symptoms and signs, and from the fourth to sixth month, theexperimental group significantly improved (p<0.01or p<0.05), and the control group had noobvious change (p>0.05); in the aspect of pulmonary function, the experimental group and thecontrol group significantly improved in FEV1%, FEV1/FVC,MMEF,PEF, compared withthose before treatment after three months of intervention, and from the fourth to sixth month, the experimental group significantly improved (p<0.05), and the control group had no obviouschange (p>0.05); in the aspect of SGRQ scores, the symptom scores, ability scores, diseaseactivity scores and the total scores of the experimental group and the control groupsignificantly improved compared with those before treatment, and from the fourth to sixthmonth, the experimental group significantly improved (p<0.01or p<0.05), and the controlgroup had no obvious change (p>0.05).Conclusion:The respiratory function exercise and diet nursing intervention is effectiveon improving the patients’ symptom, sign, pulmonary function and quality of life, and worthyof clinical promotion.
