| Objective On the basis of antibiotic treatment, Patients of RUTI were treated by The Nourishing Kidney and Clearing Prescription, to explore the mechanism of The Nourishing Kidney and Clearing Prescription in treating RUTI by observing the effects of the symptoms as well as laboratory indexes, treatment courses, recurrence rates and many other.Methods45cases, from Jiangsu Province Hospital of TCM, were divided into treatment group (26cases) and control group (19cases). On the basis of proper antibiotic treatment, treatment group recept the care of The Nourishing Kidney and Clearing Prescription.12weeks of treatment. To observe the changes of symptoms, laboratory indexes, recurrence rate in the two groups before and after treatment.Results①In the second and sixth week,34.6%and50%patients of the treatment group markedly improved, while the control group were5.3%,15.8%, the difference of this rate between the two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05);②Recurrence rate of the treatment group was8%, much lower than the control group(36.8%), the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).③In the sixth week and twelvth week, The frequent urination/urgency/uine pain of the treatment group were significant improved than the control group(P<0.05); the lumbago of the treatment group was improved than the control group(P<0.05).④The urine leukocytes, RBC, squamous cells, urine pH than before treatment decreased to varying degrees, and the treatment group compared with the control group decreased significantly (P<0.05).⑤Compaired with pre-post treatment, integral of syndrome of Traditional Chinese Medicine descented (P<0.05), compared with the control group there was also a significant difference (P<0.05).Conclusions Using the nourishing kidney and clearing prescription and antibiotic therapy have advantage effect to improve the clinical symptoms and shorten the course of treatment, reduce the rate of recurrence. |
