Objective:Nursing students are the future of nursing career, concerning about theeducation of nursing students、concerning about the career maturity ofnursing students is a matter of the future of nursing career. In ourcountry, medical institutions have been carrying out several of careercounseling, career maturity is a very good starting point. The thesis dealwith career maturity of nursing students in Hei longjiang province; thedifferences among different dimensions,the differences of careermaturity of nursing students in different academic levels, the cause offorming these differences,it provides career guidance which are suitablefor different academic level nursing students and nursing teachersMethods:1.The research subjects are undergraduate、college students、secondaryschool students come from three different academic nursing institutionsof full-time education. Using the method of stratified random samplingto choose the samples.450questionnaires were distributed,442copiesare the valid questionnaires, and effective rate is98.2%.2. This study choose the questionnaire survey, the questionnaireconsisted of two parts, there are general survey and 《Career MaturityInventory》compile by Zhongshan Sun and other scholars come from Taiwan,the inventory consisted of51questions, divided into eight dimensions.Assessed for each subject by Likert-type five-point self-rating scale toscore, the lowest average score is1, and the highest is5.3. Set up database by EXCEL and analyze the data by SPSS17.0.Results:1. The average of career maturity of nursing students in different academic in Hei longjiang province is3.57, and in eight dimensions ofcareer maturity, three dimensions’ mean are lower than3.57.2. Career maturity of nursing students in different academic havesignificantly difference (P=0.016<0.05), and there are significantlydifference in five dimensions (P=0.000<0.05). There is no significantdifference in one dimension(P=0.235>0.05).3. Comparing the career maturity of secondary school nursing students indifferent grade, P=0.051>0.05; Comparing the career maturity of collegenursing students in different grade, P=0.073>0.05; Comparing the careermaturity of undergraduate nursing students in different grade, P=0.215>0.05.4. Comparing nursing students’ various factors on the career maturityand each dimension, whether participation in social practice initiativeP=0.008<0.05, selection mode of nursing P=0.000<0.05, There aredifferences between these two elements.Conclusion:1. The level of career maturity of nursing students in different academicin Hei longjiang province is not extensive, need to improve further more.2. There are difference in career maturity and eight dimensions of nursingstudents in different academic.3. Undergraduate、college students、secondary school students in nursinginstitutions at different grade have difference in career maturity andeight dimensions.4. Career maturity and eight dimensions of nursing students in differentacademic have difference in whether one-child、selection mode of nursing、whether participation in social practice initiative、father’s educationlevel.
