Clinical Observation On Hemifacial Spasm Ttreated With Acupuncture Point Injection On Taiyang

Objective: To observe the efficacy of acupuncture point injection of cobamamide inthe treatment of hemifacial spasm on TàIYáNG, and to provide an effective treatmentfor the patients.Methods: The60hemifacial spasm patients were randomly divided into two groups:acupuncture point injection group (treatment group) and ordinary acupuncture group(control group),20cases in each group. After three months treatment, before and afterthe treatment, symptoms and signs were assessed and compared between the two groups.And utilize statistical methods to analyze.Results:1. The significant effective rate and the total effective rate of symptomsefficacy in the treatment group were60%and85%; The significant effective rate and thetotal effective rate of symptoms efficacy in the control group were40%and75%; Therewere no statistical differences in symptoms efficacy between the two groups (P＞0.05);2. The two groups could both improve the patients’ hemifacial spasm intensity (P＜0.05), there was no obvious difference between the two groups (P＞0.05).3. The two groups could both improve the patients’ hemifacial spasm frequency (P＜0.05), there was no obvious difference between the two groups (P＞0.05).Conclusion:1. Acupuncture point injection on TàIYáNG was an effectivetreatment for hemifacial spasm.2. The operation of acupuncture point injection on TàIYáNG was easy, and its costwas little, and it was more adaptable to the modern life. It was worthy of clinicalapplication.
