| Objective: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of intratympanicinjection of triamcinolone acetonide plus ambroxol hydrochloride in thetreatment of secretory otitis media (SOM).Methods:Article were selected from PubMed,Embase,CNKI,VIP,wanfang data. Iteratures were screened according to the preestablishedinclusion and exclusion standards and the quality wasevaluated strictly byusing the CochraneHandbook.Meta-analysis was completed using sofewareReview Manager5.2.Results:5randomized controlled trials(RCTs) involving615ears wereincluded.Meta-analysis results of study group(intratympanic injection oftriamcinolone acetonide plus ambroxol hydrochloride) versus controlgroup(intratympanic injection of triamcinolone acetonide plus ambroxolhydrochloride) in5RCTs had statistically significant in efficacy(OR=4.25and95%confidence interval is2.71to6.66).Another meta-analysis resultsof study group(intratympanic injection of triamcinolone acetonide plus ambroxol hydrochloride) versus control group(myringotomy with grommetinsertion) in2RCTs had statistically significant in efficacy(OR=1.67and95%confidence interval is0.61to4.60) and safety(OR=0.16and95%confidence interval is0.03to0.94).Conclusion:The intratympanic injection of triamcinolone acetonideplus ambroxol hydrochlorideand is more effective than dexamethasone plusambroxol hydrochloride.Although there is no significant difference of theadverse effects between intratympanic injection of triamcinolone acetonideplus ambroxol hydrochlorideand and tympanostomy tube insertion,but thecomplication rate was lowwer.So intratympanic injection of triamcinoloneacetonide plus ambroxol hydrochlorideand can be preferred in clinicaltreatment. |
