Music Intervention On The Influence Of The Initial Pain Orthodontics

Objective: Early assessment of pain intensity after wearing brackets，To study themusic intervention on the influence of the initial pain orthodontics.Methods: Select the tooth fixed orthodontic treatment of children in200cases, the male96cases, female104cases, aged11to16years old. Randomly divided into4groups, and50people, including two groups use Tomy self-ligating brackets, the other two groups useXin Ya conventional straight wire brackets. Extraction using Tomy self-ligating bracketsand Xin Ya conventional straight wire brackets for a group each observation group, the restof the two groups as control group. The observation group of patients need listen to music20minutes before writing questionnaire, the control group of patients do not need to listento music. The visual analogue scale method (visual analogue scales, VAS) record painintensity after treated2h,6h,24h,3d and7d, the results are statistical analysis.Understanding of music intervention plays a positive role on whether orthodontic initialpain, using a different braces relations with orthodontic pain and regularity of painintensity.Results:1、The initial pain of orthodontic in patients with music intervention less than thepain without music intervention, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05).2,the use of self-locking braces and traditional straight wire bow orthodontic bracketorthodontic pain in patients with no statistical difference (P>0.05).3, observation groupand control group pain change trend is consistent, are after orthodontic treatment pain, painscores increased, peak in24hours, three days after significant pain,7days later the basicreturned to normal.Conclusion:1、Music intervention on the initial relief of pain orthodontic has goodclinical effect.2, orthodontic pain has certain regularity, the happening of the pain and theintensity has nothing to do with the types of braces.
