Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) was separated and cultured from human gastricmucosa for the first time in1982.Since then the domestic and foreign scholars afternearly30years of research, has now been confirmed that H. pylori infection arepathogenic factors of chronic active gastritis, peptic ulcer disease, gastricmucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) lymphoma and gastric cancer. Studies havefound H. pylori infection and some gastrointestinal diseases such as iron deficiencyanemia, idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura, coronary heart disease, children and fetaldevelopment, growth retardation, the cholelithiasis, periodontal disease and otherdiseases have a certain relationship, the research evidence suggests that eradication of H.pylori has many benefits, such as to promote ulcer healing, significantly reducing ulcerrecurrence and complication rates the treatment of low-grade gastric mucosa-associatedlymphoid tissue lymphoma, long-term remission of functional dyspepsia and reduce theprevalence of gastric cancer. H. pylori infection treatment has been the focus of the studyand one of the hotspots of the H. pylori field. In recent years at home and abroad epidemiological survey to clarithromycin andmetronidazole resistance show that it is the main reason of standard triple H. pylorieradication rate is getting lower and lower. Because some areas of standard triple therapyfor the eradication rate has been much lower80%, many parts of the country have beenrevised and promulgated the latest H. pylori infection treatment consensus/guidelines. The2012China’s fourth the H. pylori infection consensus recommended quadrupletherapy as a first-line of H. pylori eradication therapy. Because of H. pylori resistancepressure, scholars from various countries to actively seek a higher rate of eradicationtherapy, research and development of anti-H. pylori-resistant drugs, this paper will bemake a brief overview about the consensus from the latest H. pylori infection, Chinesemedicine treatment, Antibiotics in combination probiotics or Ecabet sodium, bioactiveprotein and H. pylori vaccine in recent years.
