Research On Effect Of Probiotics Combined With Quadruple Therapy In Treatment Of Helicobacter Pylori Associated Gastritis

ObjectiveTo observe the effect of probiotics combined with quadruple therapy on the rateof Hp eradication, status of clinical symptom remission and the incidence of sideeffects in treating for helicobacter pylori associated gastritis.Methods1.153chronic gastritis patients with helicobacter pylori infection were collectedand divided into control group and observation group. The patients in control groupwere only treated with quadruple therapy which included omeprazole, colloidalbismuth pectin, Amoxicillin and furazolidone for two weeks. The patients inobservation group were received quadruple therapy and bifid-triple viable capsules fortwo weeks.2. C14urea breath test was reexamined to determine the situation of Hp eradicationin all patients after4weeks at the end of the treatment. All patients should be markedthe clinical symptoms before the start of treatment, after1week of treatment，after2weeks of treatment and Side effects in the course of treatment were recorded。Results1.The Hp eradication rate were80.28%in control group and91.46%inobservation group, there were significant difference in Hp eradication rate betweentwo groups (P＜0.05).2. There were no significant difference in clinical symptom score before treatmentbetween the control group and observation group (P>0.05). Clinical symptom scoresof two groups both decreased after1st week treatment and2nd week treatment, but the clinical symptom scores of observation group decreased more obviously than thatof control group（P＜0.05）, and the clinical symptom scores were significantly lowerin observation group than that in control group after1week of treatment and2weeksof treatment(P＜0.05).3. The side effects were found in21cases in the control group, the incidence ofside effect was29.57%; they were12cases and14.63%, respectively, in theobservation group. The incidence of adverse reaction was lower in the observationgroup than that in the control group (P<0.05).ConclusionsProbiotics combined with quadruple therapy may enhance Hp eradication rate,significantly improve clinical symptom and reduce incidence of side effects on the Hperadication therapy of chronic gastritis. So it might be had broad application prospectsin the clinic for the treatment of Hp related chronic gastritis.
