Objective: The Study designed to compare the efficacy of simple obesitytreatment by acupuncture at different depths Spleen Deficiency type.(1) Toobserve whether shallow puncture needle therapy has the effect on SpleenDeficiency of simple obesity so as to provide clinical applications based onactual clinical trials to this therapy.(2) To enrich the treatment programs ofSpleen Deficiency in simple obesity to guide clinical practice, in order toimprove this disease types acupuncture treatment effect. Methods: The60Spleen Deficiency of simple obesity patients inaccordance with the inclusion and exclusion criteria were randomly divided intothe treatment group and control group (30vs30). The patients in treatmentgroup received acupuncture needle shallow puncture. Pishu, Shuifen, Zhongwan,Daheng, Daimai, Qihai, Fenglong, Yinlingquan, Zusanli were included in mainacupuncture points and facial obesity adds Quanliao, Chengjiang were includedin collocation acupuncture points. arm obesity adds Binao, Quchi; abdomenobesity adds Shangwan, Liangmen, Tianshu; dorsal obesity adds Geshu,Feishu;buttock obesity adds Huantiao, Chengfu; leg obesity adds Xuehai,Shangjuxu. The other30patients in control group received the same acupuncture points.Once a day,10days for a course of treatment, rest for3days then continue startthe next course of treatment. After two courses of treatment, the clinical efficacyof two groups were compared with statistical methods. Results: The results of gender, age, duration and pre-treatment weight, waist circumference, hip circumference, body mass index (BMI), fat percentage(F%) was not statistically significant (p>0.05).(1)On clinical aspects of efficacy: after two courses of continuous treatment, total effective rate was86.67%in treatment groups and83.33%in control grouprespectively(p<0.05), indicating that total effective rate of30patients intreatment groups were better than that in control groups after continuoustreatment within2courses.(2) On indicators: After2courses, two of the indicators before and aftertreatment were statistically significant differences (p<0.05). In comparison tobody weight, waist circumference, hip circumference, body mass index (BMI),body fat percentage (F%) as an indicator of the effect on the course of treatment2, the indicators have declined between the two groups at,significant levels(p<0.05).Conclusion:(1) Shallow puncture needle acupuncture therapy and theconventional acupuncture all have good effect on simple obesity of SpleenDeficiency.(2)Shallow puncture needle therapy for simple obesity Spleen Deficiency issuperior to conventional acupuncture group.
