Objective:1. Study on the chemical composition of Fomes officinalis Ames.2. Toestablishe the quality standard of Fomes officinalis Ames, based on the ChinesePharmacopeia(2010).3. Test for AChE inhibiting activity and antioxidant activityconstituents of Fomes officinalis Ames. Method:1. compound was isolated from thealcohol extract by using solvent extraction, silica gel, and identitified by spectroscopictechnology;With abundant triterpene acids dehydroeburicoic acid as a reference substance,to establish HPLC determination method on this compound.2. We have determination thecontent of identifications, and herbal checks and determination total triterpenoids byUV-spectrophotom in the11batch of Fomes officinalis Ames.3. Test for AChE inhibitingactivity and antioxidant activity constituents of Fomes officinalis Ames by TLCbioautography method. Result:1. One compound were isolated and identified asdehydroeburicoic acid. Determination of the purity of dehydroeburicoic acid is96.39%byHPLC area normalization method, The content of dehydroeburicoic acid in the11batch ofFomes officinalis Ames is1.82~6.62%.2. The content of moisture shall not be more than6%, the total ash shall not be more than5%, acid-insoluble ash shall not be more than3%,the heavy metals shall not be more than10ppm, the arsenic salt shall not be more than1ppm, etc.3. The part of ethanol extract shows some AChE inhibitory activities andantioxidant activity. Conclusion:1. The compound could as the chemical referencesubstance of Fomes officinalis Ames to improve the standards in the future.2. Accordingto the multifaceted index established the quality standard of Fomes officinalis Amespreliminary.3. Using TLC bioautography method for the first time, we found that Fomesofficinalis Ames contains AchE inhibitory and antioxidant components, provide basis forour group in the future.
