Extraction And Preliminary Biological Activities Of Polysaccharides From Fomes Officinalis Polysaccharides

Objective:To study extraction ,isolation the polysaccharides from Fomes officinalis Ames in Vighur's medicine and to study the best agents, physicochemical properties,bio- logical activities。They will provide scientific basis for new polysaccharide drug research and comprehensive utilization of Fomes officinalis Polysaccharides.Methods: Orthogon- al experimental was applied to know the best agents for extracting the crude polysac- charide. Based on Spectral analysis (IR,IR,GC),the physicochemical properties of FOPS was investigated. Inhabition experiments of S180 in mouse were used in FOPS's immune activities in vitro. MTT method was applied to determine the immunity activities of the polysaccharide from Fomes officinalis Ames.Results: The results showed that the extract rate of crude FOPS was 3.37%,and total gluose content was 68.81%.11 crude homogeneous polysaccharides were obtained preliminarily from Fomes officinalis Ames. Rha,Ara,Xyl,Man, Glc,Gal were identified as the basic sugars of FOPS.The experiments on pharmacological effects of mice indicated that FOPS had obsolete activities inhibiting the tumor gowth; FOPS increased the proliferation of mice spleen lymphocytes and peritoneal macrophages cell populations in vitro.Conclusion: The extract rate of crude FOPS was 3.37%,and total gluose content was 68.81%.11 crude Homogeneous polysaccharides were obtained preliminarily from Fomes officinalis Ames. FOPS has certain immunity activity .We suggest that the polysaccharides will be futurelly isolated and purificated.The first class chemical structures of FOPS will be analyzed.The biological activities will be studied.
