Correlation Between Lumbar Disc Herniation Patients Of Han And Uygur Nationality And Lumbar Bone Mineral Density

Objective:To compare the lumbar spinal bone mineral density(BMD) betweenlumbar disc herniation patients and normal peoples of Han and Uygur nationality inUrumqi city,study the correlation between lumbar disc herniation and lumbarBMD.Methods:54Han and50Uygur nationality peoples’ lumbar spinal bone mineraldensity were determined by duel energy X-ray BMD detector (Model lexxos made byDMS co.Ltd,France) in Urumqi residents.All of them were divided into lumbar discherniation groups and obese groups.Results:In the same nationality,lumbar disc herniationpatientsBMD was lower than that of their partner group,osteopenia and osteoporosispatients’ constituent ratio in lumbar intervertebral disc herniation was higher than that oftheir partner group.(P＜0.05);In the different nationality,the same two groups’BMD waswithout difference（P＞0.05）.Conclusion:The lumbar disc herniation had an inversecorelation to the lumbar spinal bone mineral density(BMD),while the nation is theindependent factors of that,it indicated that doctors treated the lumbar disc herniation inclinic,at the same time,aggressively treated the osteopenia and osteoporosis.
