Curative Effect Observation Of Personalized Therapy For Cerebral Palsy With Genu Recurvatum

Objective Through angle contrast before and after treatment，the research discuss theeffects of personalized treatment for cerebral palsy with genu recurvatum.In thisresearch,we also compare the score of activity of daily life and gross motor function todiscuss the improving effects on overall movement function of those children. Also wediscuss how to develop the personalized therapy by evaluating muscle strength andmuscle tension around the knee joint.Methods The object of study is20patients with genu recurvatum of cerebral palsy.Thepersonalized therapy is drawn up according to the accessment of the angle when supineor standing,muscle strength and muscle tension,gross motor function and activity ofdaily life.After the comprehensive evaluation,we draw the personalized therapy withhospital-family rehabilitation mode,including four weeks in hospital with basicrehabilitation technology and four weeks at home.During the four weeks in hospital,thetherapists will teach their parents some basic technology they can use when at home.Theresearch cycle include three rehabilitation process,totally six months.Then we evaluatethe above indicators again.After that we observe the curative effect of personalizedtreatment through the statistical analysis of the results.Results As to the etiology of genu recurvatum is variable,the treatment is alsodifferent.For the spasm type of cerebral palsy,the spasticity of quadriceps and triceps legcramps can be effectively controlled,significantly lower than before.For children withlow muscle tone,enhance quadriceps tension can maintain the stability of the knee joint.Improvement can be seen in genu recurvatum angle, activities of daily life,gross motor function in walking,running,jumping,etc.Evaluation results before and after treatmentwere statistically analyzed,The difference was statistically significant (P<0.01).Conclusion Cerebral palsy with genu recurvatum is usually abnormal with musclestrength and muscle tension in lower limb.The biomechanics changes lead to thefunctional limitations,especially in walking,running,jumping,etc. Personalized treatmentis drawn up by muscle strength around the knee joint, muscle tension andproprioception.We use comprehensive treatment to impove the angle of genurecurvatum,such as exercise therapy,physical therapy, proprioception stimulation,orthoses,etc.Those treatment can improve genu recurvatum and increase the patients’gross motor function.It can also provide effective methods of rehabilitation for childrenwith genu recurvatum.
