| Objective: The objective is to discuss relationship between the lactate levels andventilator-associated pneumonia prognosis, thus to provide guidance for breathingmachine correlative pneumonia patients treatment.Methods: Take the patients which arehospitalized in emergency intensive care unit (EICU) of Xinjiang Medical University FirstAffiliated Hospital and did the endotracheal intubation and used breathing machine morethan48hs during March2011to May2012as research objects. According the prognosis,the62ventilator-associated pneumonia patients are divided into better group and deathgroup.Extracted arterial blood for the time of confirmed VAP,24h after confirmed,48h afterconfirmed,72h after confirmed,96h after confirmed and120h after confirmed to take bloodlactate monitoring. Then it needs to analyze the two groups of patients after usingbreathing machine dynamic changes of blood lactate.Result: According to general data,there is obvious difference between better group and death group. The date of death groupis higher than the better group. The difference (P<0.05)is statistical significance. What’smore, The lactate levels in the different time are all different（P<0.05） between the twogroups. It is pointed out that the dynamic blood lactate monitoring is more valuable thanthe single monitoring for ventilator-associated pneumonia prognosis. Conclusion:According to the change of lactate levels between the better and death groups, all thepatients had made a significantly higher. However, the higher degrees are different. Thelactate levels of the better group are on a declining curve; while dates of the death groupare continue to increase. It is pointed out that the dynamic blood lactate monitoring48hafter intubation plays a predicted role for ventilator-associated pneumonia prognosis.Therefore blood lactate monitoring could timely found the patient’s condition changes andprovide important basis for treatment and estimating prognosis. |
