Objective: To contrast the differences of serum25-hydroxy-vitamin D and and calciumand phosphorus metabolism between people with and without hypertension, by observing232cases of vitamin D(Vitamin D VitD)levels in Xinjiang Uygur patients. To investigatethe level of serum25-hydroxy-vitamin D in Uygur population with essential hypertensionand the relationship between serum25-hydroxy-vitamin D levels and bloodpressure. Methods: To investigate in Xinjiang Kashgar region from December2012toJanuary2013.Using stratified random sampling method, and through collect requiredinformation by the questionnaire, physical examination, to investigate the prevalencesituation of the Uygur patients with hypertension. All the subjects were of Uygurnationality including132cases of essential hypertension and100cases with normalcontrol, with the average age of (51.39±10.04) years. The detection of blood pressure andserum25-hydroxy-vitamin D levels and relevant indicators of calcium and phosphorus, analyse the differences of serum25-hydroxy-vitamin D levels between people with andwithout hypertension, and the relationship between serum25(OH) D level and serumcalcium and blood pressure. Results: The lack of vitamin D in232cases of Uygur patientsaccounted for85.78%, the overall serum25-hydroxy-vitamin D average levels (11.30±6.58) ng/ml; The level of serum25(OH) D levels in women’s groups were statisticallylower than the men’s groups; The level of body mass index in Uygur essentialhypertension group was higher than Uygur normal control group; The level of serum25(OH) D levels, serum calcium in essential hypertension group were statistically lower thanthe without hypertension group(P<0.05), with statistical significance.Uygur patients withessential hypertension VitD deficiency accounted for82.6%;Admission every6ng/mldescend in serum25(OH) D, risk of elevated systolic blood pressure increased to0.68; The level of body mass index increased5kg/m2, the risk of systolic blood pressure≥140mmHg increased to1.78;Serum calcium increased0.2mmol/L, the risk of diastolicblood pressure≥90mmHg reduced to0.42.Conclusion: The trained people of XinjiangUygur nationality have high morbidity of Vitamin D deficiency, women are moreseriously suffered from Vitamin D deficiency than men; Uygur essential hypertensionpatients generally have a lack of vitamin D;serum25(OH) D levels and serum calciumlevels and blood pressure there is a certain relationship.
