Objective:To investigate the role of Flavored Zuo Jin decoction in the functional dyspepsia. Methods:Cases were selected from Yunnan Province Chinese Medicine Hospital outpatientsfrom December2011to March2013, a total of90patients who were subjected to FD.Patients were randomly divided into treatment group A (Flavored Zuo Jin decoctiongroup), treatment group B (Modified flavored Zuo Jin decoction group, control group(Domperidone administration group), with30cases in each group. Compared thepatient’s symptoms before and after treatment t to evaluate the therapeutic effect ofdifferent treatment.Results:1.Clinical efficacy comparison. Total effective rate treatment group A was96.7%,treatment group B was96.7%; control group was90%.control group B totalefficiency of. There was no significant difference between Flavored Zuo Jindecoction treatment group A and control group, P=0.211>0.05. There was differencebetween treatment group B and control group, P=0.003<0.01.There was markeddifference between flavored Zuo Jin decoction treatment group and treatment group B,P=0.049<0.05.2.TCM syndromes comparison. Comparison of the flavored Zuo Jin decoctiontreatment group A and control group in the symptom score after treatment, there wasno significant difference(P>0.05). Comparison of the treatment of B group and controlgroup, epigastric burning, good sigh, nausea, vomiting, the body weight drowsiness, loose stool after treatment symptom scores were statistically significant(P<0.05);remaining symptoms after treatment integral P>0.05,no significant difference.Comparison between treatment group A and treatment group B,all symptoms aftertreatment Credits are P>0.05, the difference was not statistically significant.3.The therapeutic integral comparison among different groups before and aftertreatment. Results showed that treatment group A was the loose stool Tong symptoms before and after treatment Diff no statistically significant(P>0.05); the remainingsymptoms before and after treatment integral difference was statistically significan(tP<0.05).Treatment group B were all statistically significant difference(P <0.01).Control group were the mouth pain, dry mouth, the body weight drowsiness, fatigue, weakness, stool dilute Tong symptoms before and after treatment Diff no statisticallysignificant(P>0.05), the rest of the symptoms before and after treatment integraldifference was statistically significance(P <0.05).4.Comparison of flavored Zuo Jin decoction treatment group and control group forSCL-90factor before and after treatment, the integral was no significant difference(P>0.05).5.During treatment control group A (Domperidone group) at the end of the treatmentof patients with mild diarrhea symptoms improved after stopping. The remainingpatients exhibited significant adverse reactions. Conclusion: Flavored Zuo Jin decoction administration can effectively improve theclinical symptoms in patients with FD, its efficacy is amost as good as domperidone. The flavored Flavored Zuo Jin decoction treatment showed better efficacy and nosignificant adverse reactions as a good application in the FD therapy. But modifiedflavored Zuo Jin decoction can achieve better efficacy.
