Purpose:To investigate clinical manifestations,pathological features and diagnosis of carcinosarcoma of the breast.Methods:The diagonosing and treating process of a patient with carcinosarcoma of the breast with bone metastasis was reviewed, involving observation and analysis of Histopathologic characteristics and immunophenotype. Result:For the purpose of diagnosis and treatment,sectional removal of mammary gland in light breast+frozen section examination+biopsy of the4th lumbar vertebra,pathologic report:(Medial mass of right breast) ductal carcinoma in situ,immunophenotype:ER+, PR+, CerbB-2-, p63+, E-Cadherin+。(Lateral mass of right breast) undifferentiated carcinoma, carcinosarcoma deriving from myoendothelial cells surrounding ducts of mammary gland is considered.(the4th lumbar vertebra)metastatic Carcinoma.immunophenotype:CK7-, CK20-, CK5/6-, ER-, PR-, CerbB-2-, p63+, Vimentin+, CD10-, CA125-, CA153+, CK18+, SMA-, GCDFP-15-, CK34BE12-, E-Cadherin+, Thyroglobulin-, TTF-1-. Conclusion:Morbidity of carcinosarcoma of the breast is very low, without relatively specific clinical features and relatively efficient associated auxillary examinations before operation, usually results in difficulties of early diagnosis,operation and chemotherapy are looked as primary treatments in it.
