Objective:Carcinosarcoma (CS) was named: malignant mixed tumormesoderm, also known as malignant mixed miao’s tube tumor, sarcomatoidcarcinoma, is a malignant mesenchymal components mixed tumors andmalignant epithelial components.It is a rare form of highly malignant tumor,can occur in the esophagus, breast, lung, kidney, liver, throat, bladder, prostate,etc.Carcinosarcoma in the female reproductive system is the most common inuterine sarcoma, accounts for2%~5%.of all malignant uterine body tumors,accounts for less than1%in ovarian malignant tumor,in the cervix andfallopian tubes are more rare malignant tumor.Reports have pointed out thatthe prognosis of carcinosarcoma generally poor,5-year survival rate wasbetween20%~30%, there is no unified and effective treatment, the search formore effective treatment is the key to improve the prognosis.This topic12cases were analyzed in the second hospital, hebei medical universitydepartment of gynaecology of genital tract in patients with carcinosarcoma,aims to summarize the clinical characteristics of the female genital tractcarcinosarcoma, imaging features, pathologic and immunohistochemicalfeatures, treatment and related factors affecting the prognosis, for the earlydiagnosis and improve the prognosis of female genital tract carcinosarcoma.Methods:In2003-2013in the second hospital, hebei medical universitydepartment of gynaecology genital tract of diagnosis and treatment of12casespatients with carcinosarcoma were retrospectively summarize clinical featuresof female genital tract carcinosarcoma, imaging features, pathologic andimmunohistochemical features, treatment, and the related factors influencingthe prognosis.Results: Uterine carcinosarcoma in5cases, ovarian cancer7cases, ofwhich2stage I, stage II in2cases,6patients with stage III and IV in2cases.4 cases died of survival were4,5,10,25months.8cases of survival of survivalwere48,40,36,28,24,15,6,4months.Conclusions: Female genital tract carcinosarcoma is a kind of highmalignant degree, highly invasive tumors, treatment should be taken to put,chemotherapy is given priority to with radical surgery combined with auxiliarycomprehensive and individualized treatment, the clinical progress rapidly, butits poor prognosis.
