Objective: Study the expression of NM23-H1and CD44v6in the non-small celllung cancer without lymph node metastasis(N0NSCLC) and discuss the clinicalsignificances. Methods: Collect60non-small cell lung cancer-tissues without lymph nodemetastasis after conventional pathologic examination and the follow-up data fromthoracic surgery department in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Dalian MedicalUniversity from2000to2005, male patients40cases, female patients20cases, themaximum age77years old, the minimum age50years old, mean age of59years old;there are33squamous cell carcinoma patients and27adenocarcinoma patients. Request:the tumor tissue’s biggest straight is not bigger than2cm, and the tumor tissues weresurrounded by lung or pleura, and no pleural shrinks; there were no tumor invaded morethan lobe bronchus under bronchoscope, all of the patients do not receive theradiotherapy or chemotherapy treatment before and after the surgical-treatments. Weclosed-follow-up visit all the60patients after their surgical-treatments by recheck ortelephone for5years. Recurrence.metastasis and die for the lung cancer are outcomeevents. Using S-p immunohisto-chemical staining techniques, detect the expression ofNM23-H1、CD44v6in60cases none-small cell lung cancer tissues without lymph nodemetastasis by conventional operate-pathological examination way in squamous cellcarcinoma and adenocarcinoma and analysis the relationship between the two factorsand5-years prognosis of patients.Result: NM23-H1expresses in the cytolymph, CD44v6main expresses incytomembrane, and a little in cytolymph. After five years of follow-up observation in60cases of N0NSCLC, there were33patients had not occurred the outcome events;in40cases of NM23-H1positive patients,29cases had not occurred outcome events; In20cases of NM23-H1negative patients,4cases had not occurred the outcomeevents; the survival rate in NM23-H1positive patients was72.50%, and the survivalrate in NM23-H1negative patients was20.00%; in21cases of CD44v6positivepatients,6cases had not occurred outcome events; in39cases of CD44v6negativepatients,27cases had not occurred the outcome events; the survival rate in CD44v6positive patients was28.57%,and the survival rate in CD44v6negative patients was69.23%; by the survival function curve can be seen, with the prolongation of time, thesurvival rate gradually decreased, but the survival rate of NM23-H1positive patientswas significantly higher than that of NM23-H1negative patients, the survival rate ofCD44v6positive patients was significantly lower than that of CD44v6negative patients;the positive expression of NM23-H1has a positively correlated relationship with5year prognosis (r=0.887), and the positive expression of CD44v6has a negativecorrelated relationship with5year prognosis (r=-0.784); in the33squamouscarcinoma patients, there were19NM23-H1positive patients, the positive rate was57.58%; there were14CD44v6positive patients, the positive rate was42.42%; inthe27adenocarcinoma patients, there were21NM23-H1positive patients, the positiverate was77.78%; there were7CD44v6positive patients, the positive rate was25.93%;by the statistical comparison, there were no significance about the difference betweenthe positive rate of NM23-H1in squamous cell carcinoma and adenocarcinoma weresignificant (p<0.05); and also the CD44v6.
