Objective:Study the relationship between TCM syndrome patterns and six hepatic biochemical findings on chronic hepatitis B according clinical research. Methods:Based on epidemiological research and laboratory technique we designed the questionnaire includes sex, age, medical history, history of pAST illness, symptom and physical sign, etc. as well as the basic TCM information such as tounge and pulse sign. The five TCM symptom patterns are Shi Re Zhong Zhu, Gan Yu Pi Xu, Gan Shen Yin Xu, Pi Shen Yang Xu, Yu Xue Zhu Luo while ALT, AST, GGT, ALP, TBILIL, DBILIL were observed as hepatic biochemical indexes. The questionnaire filled by well trained investigater before traditional Chinese physicians were choiced to diagnose the pattern according to the standard of TCM. All datas gathered were inputed into the computer which the SPSS17.0was used to provide the final result. Datas were analysised by卡方值Test first for the scanning of the basic tribution of six hepatic biochemical indexes within the five TCM patterns, besides ROC curve drawing. Based on binary logistic regression we choiced the five patterns as dependent variable and sex, age, along with the six indexes as independent variable which selected by the method backward Wald and thus concluded the regression equation which tested by method likehood ratio under the test level of α=0.05.Result:The study collects461patients’information of chronic hepatitis B which has the descending distribution as Gan Yu Pi Xu (160cases;35%), Shi Re Zhong Zhu (118cases;25%), Gan Shen Yin Xu (111cases;24%), Yu Xue Zhu Luo (50cases;11%), Pi Shen Yang Xu (22cases;5%). In contrAST with the other four, according to the statistic模型, patterns shows positive correlation with some indexes, separately as ALT and Shi Re Zhong Zhu, AST and Gan Yu Pi Xu, ALP and Gan Shen Yin Xu, TBILIL and Pi Shen Yan Xu, GGT and Yu Xue Zhu Luo. Otherwise some indexes shows negative correlation as well as sex and age take effects too. Conclusion:ALThough the results indicate statistically significant correlations between TCM syndrome patterns and hepatic biochemical indexes, it is still premature to a confident conclusion before more research on proceeding according to the extremely low sensitivity in fitting results, fewer than50%in all...
