Diagnosis And Treatment For Pancreatic Duct Stones

AIM: To explore the methods of diagnosis and treatment for pancreatic duct stone.Methods: Experience of diagnosis and treatment for pancreatic duct stone in10patients form2008’s up to2012’s were retrospectively analyzed by us.Results: Patients are all lacks of specificity symptoms. The main symptoms of thedisease are pain in midsection along with diarrhea, thin and some symptoms ofdiabetes,as symptoms of chronic pancreatitis. The diagnosis are confirmed by themethods combined with B-type ultrasonic, CT, ERCP or MRCP.7cases wereoperated,5patients with splitting the pancreatic duct and fetching stone andpancreatolithotomy with Roux-en-Y side t0side pancreaticojejunostomy,of which;1cases with pancreatoduodenctomy;1patients with resection of body and trail ofpancreas and sp lenectomy with Roux-en-Y side t0side pancreaticojejunostomy. Theoperative effects are satisfactory.1case discharged automatically,1underwent ERCPEST lithotomy,1underwent ERCP EST lithotomy and pancreatic duct stent drainage.All were followed up for6months to2years;7underwent surgical treatment of6cases of abdominal pain symptoms disappeared,1case had different degree of ease.3cases of conservative treatment, among them2cases of abdominal pain symptomsdisappeared,1case was not alleviated.6cases of diabetes mellitus were steady bloodsugar control.Conclusions: The diagnosis of the disease is confirmed by the methods combinedwith B-type ultrasonic, CT, ERCP or MRCP, but the first choice is B-type ultrasonic.Splitting the pancreatic duct and fetching stone, pancreat-oejunostomy is the operationof the first choic, and Pancreatic head carcinoma should do pancreaticodudenectomy.
