| Purpose: The use of GnRH analog (GnRHa) to preserve ovarian function has beeninvestigated in several small studies. We performed a systematic review of studiesexamining whether a GnRHa administered during chemotherapy is protective ofovarian function and fertility. Methods:Using database included PubMed,Spring,Ovid,CBM,FMJS,CNKIetc.Keyword included “GnRHaâ€ï¼Œâ€œchemotherapyâ€ï¼Œâ€œovarian damageï¼ovarianfunctionï¼premature ovarian failureâ€etc. We searched the literature includedstudies that reported an association between GnRHa and ovarian preservation inwomen receiving chemotherapy. Studies without a control group were excluded.Ovarian preservation was defined as the resumption of menstrual cycles and apremenopausal follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) after chemotherapy.Fertility was determined by a woman’s ability to become pregnant.Software RevMan5.1.7WaS used to assess control trials. Results:seven papers were included.the total of cases were624.All of the studies hadhomogeneity(I2=0%,P>o.05).so the study could be analyzed merged, which usedthe fixed—effect model. The result showed The use of GnRH agonists (GnRHa)during chemotherapy is protective of ovarian function.(P<0.01).Further evaluationsin adequately powered large RCTs are needed to confirm these findings.... |
