Objective: To influence on the ovarian reserves function after laparoscopic operationcombined with GnRH on the women with ovarian endometrioma. Methods: A total of125women with ovarian cyst, undergoing laparoscopic cystectomy were included. Thesepatients were divided into five groups:20patients with unilateral teratoma (control),groups A (n=33, unilateral ovarian endometrioma, D≥5cm), groups B (n=24, unilateralovarian endometrioma, D>5cm), groups C (n=27, bilateral ovarian endometrioma, D≥5cm), groups D (n=21, bilateral ovarian endometrioma, at lest one side D>5cm). Baselinelevels of serum follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH) andestrogen (E2) were in all cases before、six months and one years after operations, and themenses were observed one year after operation. Results: In the bilateral groups (C and D),the serum level of FSH increased significantly after the operation (P<0.05), while E2decreased significantly (P<0.05), for LH decreased significantly (P<0.05) one monthafter the operation. Conclusion: It suggested that ovarian reserve function would bedecreased in laparoscopic bilateral ovarian endometrioma. However, most patientsrecovered after one year, and the rate of natural pregnancy increased after the operation.
