The leisure nursery should add high ornamental value, the market demand for large seedlings, and selected can form a unique plant landscape tree species as the main backbone tree species. Through the survey found, suitable for Changsha suburb leisure nursery accent plants are:cherry blossom,plum,red maple,ginkgo,sweet-scented osmanthus,Crape Myrtle, Magnolia,Cuckoo, Camellia,lotus,etc.3.Adding recreational facilities to meet the functional requirements. In order to meet the demand of nursery function of leisure,it should use the way of Centralization and decentralization,select the appropriate position, arranged fishing, sports fitness, entertainment, games and other recreational facilities.Changsha suburban leisure nursery will become a leisure space of modern city, we should consider the design of the nursery about the multifunctional transformation, highlighting the function of leisure, creating a unique plant landscape, so as to improve the nursery’s social benefit, economic benefit and ecological benefit, satisfing people’s original simplicity—returning to nature.
