As a new generation building system, container building has huge potential at construction efficiency, cost, removable and sustainable development. It also rises up the opportunity and possibility in the area of low construction efficiency, poverty, lots of disaster or seasonal travel destination. Nowadays, not only the top priority for temporary building, but also as a fresh building style it is used for semi-permanent or permanent building and the application will more popular following the performance growth and specialization development.This thesis systematically analyzed the development history of container building, the domestic and oversea current status and experience. And, summarize the domestic and oversea research results. Then, came up with the study tasks in this article and made up the deficiencies at specific practical technology aspect. This article summarized the major characters and common regular methods of design, proposed the study questions and discussed the regarding solutions by collection of amount of cases, pictures and thesis and my site observation, study to analyzing precise quantity and character.Based on the container building natural characters of standardization and modularization, the thesis made effort to utilize the potential at standardization engineering, assembling construction, various styles and flexible space. The study is based on the space and modeling design, emphasis on container building characters upgrade, supporting system summary and connection technology, and study focusing on the basic issue of maximum design possibility of container building. It’s constituted by following sections:Chapter1mainly summarized study background, purpose and importance, method etc. And, prompt the study question. Chapter2discussed container building design introduction, including space design and modeling design. Analyzed question and gave the design solution at the same time. Chapter3concentrated on the comparing of overall performance upgrade methods using container as building parts. And, rise up the final solutions. Chapter4classified kinds of material and pattern support systems as well as analysis cases. And, prompted available design methods. Chapter5stated container connection status, design principle, especially on the connection structure between boxes of multilayer container building.It break through the existing articles which limited in summary introduction of container building character, function, application, assembly form. Research result consist of design method systematic conclude and instruction of upgrade technology. Lots of literature, information and project case analysis were included. Not only as the guide for container building construction, but also providing the theory reference for one who engage in the container building design.
