Study On The Recycled Cargo Containers In Architecture Design

From the birth of the container thought to the big screen of the sea container, the container’s production has brought immeasurable effect to human society and economic development. After more than 40 years of development, China is not only the largest country in the world’s container port throughput, but also strong in production and transportation of container. With the passage of time, due to the use of the term and a variety of factors, the container number is eliminated in the amazing and huge volume increased year by year, the lack of means of disposing of used containers, resulting in a waste of resources and environmental pollution, as an international carbon and incremental emissions are the largest countries, china faces enormous challenge in energy saving and emission reduction. used containers in the architectural design reuse, adapting to the trend of global green and low carbon, circular economy, to meet the aesthetic needs of people’s metal texture and solve the used container how to properly deal with the problem for long term, it is a new branch in the construction field with full of vigor and vitality. but as a new kind of industry and architecture form, china started late, still need to continuously explore in the design and construction.In this paper, the origin of the container and the development of China’s container industry chain for the prelude, collected world’s ten largest container port throughput statistics in the past more than 10 years, summarized four important factors from the container as a single transport chain unit developed into of transportation and building double attribute unit; analyzed the container buildings developing process at home and abroad, introduced the current application and case investigation of used container construction; researched on the basic conditions and requirements of used container construction design; discussed the adaptability of used container architecture space and the combination form of the used container buildings; and studied the actual project that the author participated in the leisure farm container hotel and outdoor barbecue station.Through a large number of typical cases, analyzed the domestic and foreign used containers in the reconstruction design of the main characteristics and general rules, summed up the formation of different building types of the functional requirements and the box body interior space and combination mode of correspondence and design strategy; and exploratory research on leisure and rural tourism container construction with building the object model with the actual project is of great reference value to carry the same type of design and promotion.
