Air conditioning system is a very important part of the car and it is a direct assurance for automobile passenger comfort. However, the automotive air conditioning system will significantly increase the energy consumption of the car. In this paper, an automobile waste heat recovery part was used to collect the waste heat generated by the running car and then used by the air-conditioning system. The main work of this paper is as follows:1. We proposed a new ejector refrigeration cycle for automobile air-conditioning which improves the compression refrigeration cycle which is widely used now. We effectively use the waste heat generated by the car through combining the compression refrigeration with ejector refrigeration. At the same time, this mode can overcome the low energy utilization problems caused by traditional ejector refrigeration cycles.2. We established mathematical models for different parts of the new refrigeration cycle, which can be used to analysis the operating state and set the work point. We divided the whole system into compressor, evaporator, condenser and other parts according to different functions. According to the mass conservation and energy conservation law, the different components are connected with other components, and ultimately get the mathematical description of the entire system.3. Through simulation, we analyze the influence of various parameters on the system status and energy consumption. A systematic study of the effects on automobile air conditioning systems was made by selection of different refrigerants, set different evaporating temperature, condensing temperature and the choice of different injectors.4. According to the new refrigeration cycle, we build an experimental platform. Test results show that the hybrid system has the advantage of better COP than that of the normal compressor A/C system under the same condition.
