Along with the rapid development of science and technology, the shortage of energy and pollution of the environment become more serious. Automobile industry is a main energy-costing industry. Because of the demand of cosiness, each modern automobile has its air conditioner. The general automobile air conditioner use part of the output power of engine, which may lead to the increase of oil consumption, in other words, increase of the burden on energy resource. For energy-saving, researchers put their vision on the application of heat-driven cooling system in automobile air conditioner. Ejector-cooling system is a system driven by heat power which has simple structure. Its utilization in automobile air conditioner has promising prospects. Ejector-cooling system can use refrigerant harmless to environment. In this paper, a new ejector-cooling system driven by automobile waste heat is put forward. It has two-stage ejector, using water as working fluid. This system also has valve-switching structure in order to circulate pumplessly. The main research of this system are as follows:1. A constant pressure mixing model for ejector is established by the aerodynamics method, the structure of the ejectors is calculated;2. Describe a thermal calculation method on this system;3. Describe and calculate the determination of specific component;4. Build a simulation model of the system, found the affect of different operation parameters on performance of system;5.Build the test rig of this system, preparing for future research.
