The Research Of Cultural Commercial Street Design Around The Ming City Wall In Xi'an

Xi'an is an ancient capital city with long history,giving us a wealth of historical relics and traditional culture.Xi'an Ming city wall,as one of the most complete ancient city wall in our country,has experienced the baptism of years and the test of the times,finally presented itself in front of us.Around Xi'an Ming city wall,there're a large number of cultural and commercial blocks.Many of them are rich in traditional historical values and cultural characteristics,you can also taste the traditional way of life.Some of them,even although it is under the background of modern city,but it absorb the essence of traditional elements,and the surrounding traditional cultural relics are complement each other.It's perfect to see the collision of old and new cultural elements and creating greater value.Nowadays,the construction of cultural and commercial blocks around the traditional cultural sites and the protection and renewal of the traditional blocks have become the focus of China's traditional historical and cultural city.However,the traditional block are short of facilities,old building suffers great damages,and traditional form and space doesn't follow modern function.It's not consistent and seriously affected the development of the image of the city and district;part of the new district has neglected to mass behavior and to consider the continuation of traditional culture in the design,lost the original block space,style with the cultural characteristics,the shortage of dynamic.In this paper,the surrounding city wall in Xi'an cultural and commercial district as the research object,using theoretical research,field research,comparative research and system analysis method,design in-depth study of the Ming city wall surrounding cultural commercial street.From the research and reflection of the present situation,the paper points out the problems and measures that should be paid attention to in the transformation and construction of the cultural commercial districts around the historic sites.The article is divided into five parts:The first part,the background research,raises the question,and carries on the inspection to the domestic same type cultural commercial district;The second part,on the surrounding Xi'an city wall typical cultural and commercial district of on-the-spot investigation,and from the four aspects of point line surface and body re combing cultural and commercial district exterior space,in-depth study and evaluation of the quality of the space;The third part,taking the mass behavior demand as the breakthrough point,through the thorough research and the investigation,discusses the Ming city wall periphery cultural commercial block in the design should follow the principle;The fourth part,with the continuation of the historical context as the starting point,through in-depth study and investigation,to explore the principles of the design of the cultural blocks around the city wall;In the fifth part,the author summarizes the problems and measures in the transformation of the cultural business district around the city wall and other historical sites.
