Moving block is a great progress compared with fixed block. It decrease the tracking interval, so trains could operate with smaller interval. The efficiency is getting higher in this way, so moving block is future of rail transit. Currently, China can’t produce train control system based on moving block independently. The related design details and key technologies are still under research. So, it is meaningful to design and simulate a train control system using moving block. It will play an important role in developing key technologies, publishing technical specification, comparing different design plan and testing performance.This thesis mainly researches on moving block theory, introduces principle and structure of current CBTC systems, analyze the differences and similarities between moving block train control system and CBTC. Do requirement analysis on such system, and finalize the main structure and functions of each part.According to CBTC design rules and user requirement, the thesis design simulating vehicular system of train control system based on moving block theory. Design system DMI followed CBTC DMI design specification, so the driver can interact with this system. Design virtual ZC using database, and realize the interface and communication between this system and ZC. The data of such communication include railway line data, temporary speed restriction and movement authority. Elaborate three tracking mode under moving block condition, particularly analyze and discuss hard and soft tracking mode, also provide the method to calculate tracking interval. Analyze the ATP algorithm and establish ATP model, complete real-time calculation of emergency brake intervention curve, service brake intervention curve and the permitted speed limit, realize automatic train protection. For better observation of simulating train operation, this thesis also design train operation simulation module, draw the railway, station and ZC, simulate the real-time train operation.At last, this thesis complete simulating vehicular system of train control system based on moving block theory using Visual Studio2012. Using simulating data to test such system, display and analyze the result of each system part. Highlight the result of ATP protect curve, temporary speed restriction, station operation and ZC take over.
