Plane strain model test rig is mainly based on the similar simulation physics theory, and it can simulate the stress distributive of tunnel lining structure in various environments. The train tunneling excavation can also be simulated in a setting similar ratio. It has obvious advantages on the analysis of underground caverns deformation and the research on rock excavation process. Therefore, it is highly practical and promising in the field of civil research areas.The research objective is to R&D a plane strain model test rig for a client. Firstly, according to the test load, main parameters of hydraulic control system were set, and three hydraulic schematics were designed. With comparison and analysis, finally, small flow oil pump, PID closed-loop control PWM type solenoid proportional valve were selected, which control three-channel loading pressure regulator and regulated. According to the selection of the hydraulic system, hydraulic components were selected.Secondly, on the basis of the theoretical calculations, ANSYS finite element software was used to check the strength of the critical hydraulic components of this system-hydraulic cylinder and modal analyzed was conducted as well, which can confirm the maximal stress place and deformation trend of the hydraulic cylinder under practical operation condition. That provides an important basis for the hydraulic cylinder manufacturing.Thirdly, AMESim software was used to build three directions multi-cylinder open-loop synchronous load simulation models and the closed loop PID control load simulation model, and loading pressure regulator and regulated control of multi-cylinder synchronization have been carried on the simulation research. By simulating flow rate and pressure of the hydraulic system characteristic curve analysis system for the static voltage stability of accuracy and stability is implemented.Finally, according to the design requirements for loading pressure regulator and regulated system, the theory of loading pressure regulator and regulated system were analyzed, the hardware of control section were selected. Using Siemens software, a test system to realize closed-loop pressure control of the hydraulic system is developed, which achieve real-time control of the hydraulic system pressure.
