Hydraulic cylinder test platform is the main equipment of integrated performance testing of the hydraulic. With the development of manufacturing industry and hydraulic industry, more and more requirements has been paid to the hydraulic cylinders’performance, and the automation needs of comprehensive performance test bench are also stronger and stronger. Automation test of hydraulic cylinder has been realized. The precision and products’ quality has also been improved. In order to meet the needs of the hydraulic cylinders’ test, the measurement and control system of hydraulic cylinder test platform is designed.The measurement and control system of the hydraulic cylinder test platform includes a hydraulic control system, an electrical control system and a data acquisition system. Firstly, based on the working principle and the structure of hydraulic cylinder test platform, the prototype of the measurement and control system has been proposed. Secondly, a PLC and a touch screen were used to realize the automation control of hydraulic cylinder test platform. At the same time, a PCI data acquisition card and Lab VIEW were used to obtain the data of displacement, pressure, temperature about the hydraulic cylinders. Thirdly, in order to solve the problem of surplus force and dynamic response, mathematical model of the hydraulic cylinder test platform were established. Based on the mathematical model, the control system were optimized by using MATLAB simulation software, and the feedforward compensator structure invariance principle were used to eliminate the extraneous force. Finally, the software and control panel of the measurement and control system were designed. The simulated debugging results proved that the design of the measurement and control system of hydraulic cylinder test platform is reasonable.The measurement and control system of hydraulic cylinder test platform has improved the quality of the hydraulic cylinder products and achieved the automation of hydraulic cylinders’ test.
