In the context of global warming, energy conservation and guiding the urban development of Low-carbon type are the key measures to alleviate the problem of climate."Low-carbon development" is becoming an important idea of governments to develop policy and Low-carbon communities are gradually rising. Residential green area is an important part of low-carbon communities and it is also the only one part which has the function of carbon sinks. Because of its unique ecological function and landscape feature, residential green area is especially attention in the process of Low-carbon communities building. It has become a hot topic on how to perfect its low-carbon construction and how to evaluate its low-carbon ecological with the increasing development potentiality of low-carbon residential green area. Therefore, this paper establishes a comprehensive assessment index system of residential green space by Delphi-APH method based on the concept of low-carbon and ecological, and evaluate30residential green space in Wuhan, analyzes and summarizes the existing problem of residential green space in Wuhan, puts forward optimization strategies for questions. The main conclusions of this study are as follow:(1)Construction of comprehensive assessment index system. Combined with the characteristics of low-carbon residential green area, this paper establishes a comprehensive assessment index system of residential green space, which includes carbon sinks index, energy efficiency index, services index of3primary indexes,20secondary indexes. Through summarizing the research achievements of predecessors, qualitative and quantitative indicators are quantified graded assignment. According to the classification standard of every index, the indexes are divided into "good, better, general, poor, very poor" five levels, and are assigned10,8,6,4,2point respectively. Set the index weights by Delphi-APH method.(2)Evaluates30residential green spaces in Wuhan using the comprehensive evaluation model which is constructed by weighted sum. It is concluded the result of comprehensive assessment of residential green space in Wuhan:the overall quality of residential green space in Wuhan is better in the aspects of low-carbon and ecology, but it still need to be further strengthen and improved. In the30residential districts, the level reach to the grade I is4,13.33%of the total number. There are18 residential districts which the level reach to the grade â…¡,60%of the total number. The residential districts which the level reach to the grade III are8,26.67%of the total number. The low-carbon and ecological index of Shuangtangxiaoqu is the lowest, it is3.1971.(4)Different evaluation grade residential area evaluation result is analyzed. In the20assessment indicators, the indicators which the average score of the three levels residential areas are generally lower are the vertical planting rate, the high carbon sequestration species rate and the native species rate. Those show that the residential green construction in Wuhan is poor in the three aspects. It need to be strengthen and improved in urgent.(5)The comprehensive evaluation results of different time types residential districts are analyzed. The middle and the new residential districts behave well in the aspect of low-carbon and ecological, and the old residential districts are poor in this aspect. For the middle and the old residential districts, the services index> energy efficiency index> the carbon sinks index; for the new residential districts, the carbon sinks index> energy efficiency index> the services index. The carbon sinks index, the energy efficiency index and the services index of different time types residential districts are analyzed, the result is that the average scores of the vertical planting rate, the high carbon sequestration species rate, the native species rate, the maintenance and management status and the public facilities are lower.Those show that the residential green space in Wuhan is poor in those aspects. It need to be improved.(6)The problems of residential green area in Wuhan city are analyzed from the aspects of the green space structure, plant using, maintenance and management,the service function. Aiming at these problems, some development strategies have been proposed, such as strengthening the vertical greening and enhancing the proportion of native tree species and so on, in order to improve the overall level residential green space in Wuhan city in aspects of low-carbon and ecological.
