China is a large construction country,with an annual construction area of about 2 billion square meters,accounting for about half of the world's total new construction area.How to enhance the project life cycle performance management has become a very important issue.Design stage occupies an important position in the whole life cycle.The quality of design will have a great influence on the quality,progress and investment of the whole construction project.The traditional two-dimensional design is inefficient and the communication and coordination are difficult.The construction industry in the design,construction and other fields are facing the application of information technology behind the low quality of design issues.And BIM technology to improve the software data exchange problem,promote project integration can play a crucial role.The research methods adopted in this paper are literature research,qualitative research and case analysis.First of all,this paper expatiates on the development of BIM(Building Information Model)technology and the related literature on collaborative platform theory at home and abroad,and finds out that the research on architectural design collaboration platform is still shallow.Secondly,This article has collated the related theory foundation which the construction profession information management,Thirdly,using the examples of the project in to demonstrate the application process of BIM model building process and BIM technology in building collaborative design.Fourthly,combined with their own work experience in structural design and presents a collaborative platform architecture design ideas from the perspective of enterprise,emphasizes the importance of the work of the collaborative design stage for the construction project whole life cycle management.In this paper,the empirical part of the DB building project as the research object,based on the BIM design collaborative platform,using Revit Architecture and Navisworks software to complete the model building,conflict detection and design optimization process of the main building of the proj ect.The empirical results show that BIM technology and collaborative theory of building information model research,applied to the architectural design of all professional collaborative design,compared to the traditional two-dimensional collaborative design,to a great extent to improve the design efficiency and improve the quality of the design.In the last part of this paper,it is pointed out that the limitation of BIM collaborative platform application is studied from the perspective of architectural design.It is expected that the BIM collaborative platform can make the construction parties communicate closely in the whole life cycle of the construction proj ect.And it will promote the construction of all parties communicate more convenient,the transmission of information more quickly and accurately.
