First, research the theory of space control,and understand its basic concept and meaning, then clear feature of space control by analysising different spatial control subjects which were owned to different government administration.Then, discuss the characteristics and requirements of small towns, for defineing its zoning standards, control objects, control levels, etc., to lay the theoretical foundation for the study of spatial planning chengxiangzhen control. Finally, under the guidance of this theory, use the evaluation method of "potential-resistance" to research the space control planning of chengxiangzhen. Due to the current control of various types of spatial planning methods mostly only play controls applicable to the type of utility in the corresponding region.
