This research mainly focuses on the industrial design of distillation equipmentfor medical use. In current market, distillation water equipment is widely used inmedical area, however, there is lack of the design, the design of emotional design andbionic design concept to carry on the practice. The design flow is divided into threestages:The first part is about the survey report towards distillation water equipment formedical use, including questionnaire of current market situation, data collection, anddata analysis in later part. In this part, the author firstly does a sampling survey to thepotential group who may have chances to be related to medical distillation equipmentthrough questionnaire, and tries to figure out their needs. And then try to analyze thesedata in the view of current market and equipment function. Based on the data andanalysis, the author manages to come to a conclusion on the designing trend andmarket needs of medical distillation water equipment and using this to support theauthor’s own design. The second part is literature review on emotionalized design theory, usermentality on medical products, and color coordinate system on industrial design. Byanalyzing these theories and researches and studying bionics design, the authorconcludes the mode of emotionalized design and set a suitable color coordinatesystem for distillation water equipment for medical use as the overall guide in thefollowing designing project. The last part is the practice report stating the whole designing process. In thispart, the designing conception and process is detailed described based on previousliterature review and survey. And some thoughts and discussion on the designing isgiven in the final part.
